Accounting changes saves Kingfisher Rs 744 cr

Private carrier Kingfisher Airlines saved close to Rs 744 crore (Rs 7.44 billion) during the six-month period ended September 30, due to some changes in its accounting methods, in the absence of which the losses suffered by the Vijay Mallya-promoted company would have been about Rs 1,400 crore (Rs 14 billion).
