Jaipur: Tension prevailed in Jaipur when a major fire broke out at Indian Oil depot in the Sitapura area here on Thursday, 29th October 2009
Nearly 20 fire tenders were called into to douse the flames. However, the reason for the outbreak of fire is not known.
Initial reports suggest that a dozen lives have been lost in the tragic incident.
The intensity of the fire is such that the flames can be seen as far as 30 Kms from the India Oil site.
Due to heavy blasts in the depots the panic gripped the Pink City of Jaipur, causing heavy traffic jams in different parts.
