Jesse James faces a custody battle over his five-year-old daughter with his ex wife, former adult film star Janine Lindemulder.

In January 2009,  Jesse James and his wife actress Sandra Bullock awarded temporary full-time custody of his daughter 5 years old, Sunny, the sentencing of her mother, Janine Lindemulder, to six months in prison for income tax evasion.

Janine was recently released from prison after spending six months behind bars,in October 2009, Lindemulder filed to regain custody of Sunny. James and Bullock sought to retain full guardianship, citing fear of the environment in which Sunny would be placed if retuned to Lindemulder, an adult film actress/producer.
